It’s Valentines and all around you is talling of love?  Here at TheKnotInItaly we are blown away by Jenny Packham’s new bridal accessories inspired by the neo-classical colour photographs of 1930’s British society photographer, Madame Yevonde. Jenny Packham’s 2015 Accessories Collection comprises elegant headdresses and bracelets, statement necklaces and ethereal veils in a soft spectrum of shades. The colours Madame Yevonde used; delicate, tonal, always romantic, and the feminine way she played with light to create a stylised, hazy ambiance, directly influence the design and palette of this season’s collection.

Echoing the intricate beaded embellishments that feature heavily throughout the gown collection, floral motifs in fine crystal and pearl formations adorn statement headbands whilst antique gold and metallic silver are intertwined with navette Swarovski crystals to compliment the whimsical tiered hemlines and celestial capes on the catwalk.  Delicate vintage cotton birdcage veils on crystal headbands pay homage to 1930’s style. Embellished necklaces, bracelets and earrings in warm crystal silk hues are a perfect pairing to the season’s colour palette of soft buttermilks, champagne and warming blush and caramel tones.   And that’s not all! Have a glance at the 2015 wedding gowns collection – soft buttermilks, champagnes and warm blush caramel tones in sumptuous silk chiffon and ethereal tulle complement traditional classic ivory. Celestial capes, whimsical tiered hemlines and exquisite veils add a romantic, mythical affection to the collection, whilst delicate French lace is adorned with signature beading and twinkling crystals in an array of molten golds, antique metallic silvers and rich alabasters.
